About
Having worked online since 1996, I’ve not only watched the Internet grow, I’ve been a part of its growth.
I started online in 1996 teaching Netscape Navigator, and how to build personal web sites at the Virtual University (a social community and learning center). I still teach several (unrelated) online classes and I’m getting more and totally involved in the social media arena.
I built my first Squidoo lens in May of 2006. At this writing my Internet Business Strategy lens is number 36 in SEO, and 690 out of more than 500,000 lenses.
I joined Digg.com in June of 2006. And I joined Twitter.com nearly two years ago. Follow me at Twitter.com/mywebgal
Social media is a fast moving phenomenon on the web and shouldn’t be ignored by any Internet Marketer or Webmaster. That’s the purpose of this blog. To help people get to know social media and realize how it can help them achieve online success.
Highly Recommended Services:
For extremely affordable domain names and hosting, go where I go to get mine, www.BetterWebBusiness.com. $8.95 for a dot com domain name, and as little as $3.99 per month for hosting. It doesn’t get much better than that!
For your shopping cart or autoresponder service, I use and recommend
1 Shopping Cart.
Online audio and video services are provided by my husband, Dan. His web site is AudioBarAndGrill.com. He has plenty of references, just as I do!
I also highly recommend Google Adsense. It’s an awesome way to earn passive income online with your web sites.
